Steam Deck SSD Storage Upgrade
Modern games are huge, and a small Steam Deck fills up fast. If you're constantly deleting games to make room, or relying on a slow microSD card, an SSD upgrade gives you space for your whole library. Level 2 Repair upgrades Steam Deck storage at our Burlington location for players across Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton.
Signs it's time to upgrade
-
"Not enough space" warnings when installing or updating games
-
Uninstalling games just to download a new one
-
Slow load times when playing off a microSD card
-
A storage drive that's failing or throwing errors
Why upgrade the SSD
The Steam Deck uses an internal SSD, and it's faster than a microSD card. A bigger internal drive means more games installed, faster loading, and less juggling.
What we do
We open your Deck, swap in the new SSD and set it up so it's ready to use. Then we test it before you pick it up. We work on both the Steam Deck LCD and Steam Deck OLED.
Before you drop off
A new SSD starts fresh, so your installed games will need to be downloaded again. Your Steam library and cloud saves stay with your Steam account. We'll talk with you about reinstalling before we start. We don't need your Steam password.
Warranty
Every Steam Deck repair includes our 1-year warranty on parts and labour.
